Jannis Stefanakis
Publisher of the magazine Neo Epipedo (since 1989), he organized the
first 'Panhellenic Comics Festival' in Athens and also established the
Heirokinito publications. He has published four collector's books about
the poetry of famous poets illustrated by his engravings and has produced
the Apokalypsi tou Ioannou (folio size), where seven coloured woodcuts
were included as well as a sketch and four engravings for E. Kaknavatos'
Akari. Mr Stefanakis has taught illustration and free-hand sketching at
AKTO college in Athens. He now works as an educator and teaches free-hand
sketching and painting at art studios in Rethymno, Crete.
