John Hudson
John Hudson is a type designer and co-founder of Tiro Typeworks, Vancouver, an independent digital font foundry and font technology consultancy specialising in custom font solutions for multilingual computing. His clients include Microsoft, Apple, IBM and Linotype Library, as well as smaller companies and scholarly societies. He was awarded a special award in the 'Kyrillitsa 99' type design competition for his "outstanding contribution to the development
of Cyrillic Typography and international typographic Communications". He designed two new Greek sans and typefaces for Linotype Library. He regularly speaks at international design and technology conferences and occasionally writes for font technology magazines and websites.
