Robin Kinross
After graduation from Department of Typography, University of Reading, he wrote an MPhil thesis on Otto Neurath and Isotype (1979). Since then he has worked as a freelance editorial-designer and writer. In 1980 he started the publishing imprint Hyphen Press, with a new edition of Norman Potter's What is a designer. Hyphen Press now publishes a range of titles on typography and design, among them Counterpunch by Fred Smeijers, Paul Renner by Christopher Burke, and his own books: Modern typography (1992), Fellow readers (1994), Unjustified texts (2002).
